Because I've been seeing the doctor a few times this week, I will be posting a short article on my blog by tomorrow night at some point. It will be a Mini-Review of this past week's episode of "Saturday Night Live;" which was hosted by Jonah Hill. It will be like my other SNL episode reviews; but just a tad shorter. And then, by the end of next week, I will be posting an article about my opinions of some of the comedies of 2011.
So thank you all for bearing with me. I'm feeling better and I'll have something up for you to read by tomorrow night.
So stay tuned and I'll see you tomorrow!

A Notice About My Next Big Writing
I am currently working on my next article; which will be up by Sunday night at the latest. I am posting something different from what I usually write. It will be somewhat of a reflective piece that will cover different comedy films of the past year.
In the meantime, you can tune in to my live-blogging of this week's episode of "Saturday Night Live;" which will be hosted by Jonah Hill. Prior to the show, I will be posting some predictions as to what sketches or occurrences could take place during the night. And as the show airs, I will be heavily opining about the performances and the quality of the sketches. I'm REALLY looking forward to this week's episode; as I have a feeling that it will be better than last week's. Even though I'm not the world's biggest fan of Jonah Hill, I have to admit that he has made me laugh of different occasions and I think that he'll give a decent performance.
So stay tuned for this weekend. I'm going to be very busy and I look forward to posting some good material. So thank you all, and I look forward to this weekend.

All in all, Not a Great Show
I was expecting a more exciting show to mark Lohan's return to SNL; but unfortunately, the writing wasn't entirely up to par as I expected it to be. What a surprise.
The cold opening was good and all the performances were great. I always like bill Hader's creepy presentation of Sheperd Smith; and the references to "Psycho" were very funny. It was great too see Sudeikis' impression of Mitt Romney again; and I liked the characterization of Romney's eerie sons. Andy Samberg did a funny Kid Rock impression and Kristen Wiig was very funny as Romney's wife. I do wish that the writers would have come up with something a tad more special; but it was a good opening nevertheless.
Lindsay Lohan's monologue was alright; and I liked seeing the castmembers act like police offices and inspect Lohan as if she was a crime suspect. Jimmy Fallon made a good surprise appearance; and I also got a very big laugh from seeing Jon Hamm; as he's always funny whenever he's on. Lohan handled herself well and she played off everyone nicely.
I did like the commercial paryody of "Real Housewives" featuring Spoiled Disney Princesses. All the women did a good job with their performances; especially Kristen Wiig-- who did great portraying a very snooty and rude Cimderella. I also thought that Tara Killam did a good job portraying Prince Charming; his delivery was very funny and he had some good lines. It was a creative spoof; though it did run a tad long by the end.
The psychic awards sketch was a creative idea; but it was very rushed. Andy Samberg did a good job as his character; but I feel that Lohan didn't really contribute anything. I got a laugh out of all the psychics seeing how they would mess up their acts in the future ur die in the upcoming year; though I wish there would have been more to the sketch.
Scared straight was brought back; and I have to say that Kenan's performance wasn't great at all. All the jokes abut rape wren't funny at all; as they were very tasteless and they were mainly executed to get a cheap laugh from the audience. I did like the fact that Lohan was playing herself; and she did a good job poking fun at her stealing of a necklace/ The performances by everyone else were OK; but Lohan's jokes about herself were the only good parts of the sketch.
Weekend Update was a mixed bag. Some of Seth Meyers' jokes were funny, such as the Seth Rogen jab, and a couple others; but his first couple jokes weren't very hilarious. Bill Hader gave a very funny performance as James Carville; but unfortunately, the writing wasn't very amusing. Hader made me laugh due to his mannerisms and delivery; but I wish he had been given better jokes. I liked seeing Bobby Moynihan playing Snooki once again; and Jon Hamm's cameo was very funny and unexpected as well. All in all, though it wasn't great, it was better than some other installments of Weekend Update this season.
The Delinquent Girl Squad sketch wasn't funny at all; as it was an excuse for Andy Samberg and Fred Armisen to dress in drag. The reoccurring joke about Fred Armisen's character constantly getting hit by a car grew old very fast and it wasn't at all humorous. His performance wasn't great at all; and Lohan didn't contribute anything special to the sketch.
The morning DJs sketch wasn't great either; but Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam did a good job with their performances. Lindsay Lohan did alright with her performance; but she didn't really get the opportunity to be very funny with her role. Vanessa Bayer did a good job playing the quiet newscaster that seems out of place on the show; and her delivery was pretty amusing.
I did like the sketch that featured Kristen Wiig and Lindsay Lohan; the latter playing a house sitter for Kristen Wiig's character. Wiig's persona getting more and more freaked out by the excessive phone calls was very funny; and Lohan did a good job playing the straightwoman of the sketch. I do have to say that the ultimate payoff came off as being very silly as well as appearing as a cheap way to get a laugh from the audience. But Kristen Wiig's performance saved the ending from being completely poor.
Andy Samberg's "Rude Buddha" sketch wasn't funny at all; as the joke of him insulting his followers behind their backs was way-too obvious and not very funny. Lindsay Lohan didn't really get to be funny at all in this sketch; and it ended her night on a weak note.
I have to say that Jack White gave a good performance tonight as the show's musical guest. I really liked his first song alot; as it had a good sound and he gave a good vocal performance. His second song was fine; but it was a tad loud and not very catchy. All in all, Jack White was alright; but there has been better musical guests this season.
As for Lindsay Lohan, I'm disappointed; as I feel that she really didn't get to do alot of funny stuff tonight. She played the straight role in many of her sketches; and only got to be truly funny when she poked fun at herself in the scared straight sketch. I was expecting her to get more humorous material to mark her return to SNL; but I feel the writers could have done a better job. She performed alright with what she had; but she didn't really make me laugh alot-- outside of making fun of herself in the scared straight sketch. She also didn't seem very enthusiastic during the night; as she seemed to have more energy during her previous hosting appearances. I wouldn't mind seeing her back again next season; I just hope she gets to do more.
And that's my live-blogging coverage. I'm looking forward to seeing Jonah Hill host next week; and I have a feeling that he'll actually be very funny on the show. I just hope the writers give him good material.
That's it for tonight. Thank you for following me and I look forward to posting my next writing. Good night everyone!

This isn't funny at all Samberg is coming off as annoying in this sketch
That was a bad ending. And now a pre-taped ad featuring Jason Sudeikis He's always good. This is a reoccurring jooke sketch.
Decent performance
He wasn't the best musical guest this season but he was alright
And now the tales of Rude Buddha
The is sketch is somewhat predictable. Buddha advises someone and then insults them behind their back. This is very predictable

The is sketch is somewhat predictable. Buddha advises someone and then insults them behind their back. This is very predictable
This is an interesting sketcg
Creative premiise and good acting. That was a stupid joke.I was exppecting something better. Though Wiig and Lohan did very well together.
Kristen Wiig acting paranoid by a troublesome phonr caller
This is an interesting sketch that's enabling both performers to act.
Vanessa Bayer as the soft=spoken newscaster was the only slightly funny part
Otherwise this sketch isn't very funny. Lohan isn't even doing anything special at all in this. This wan't a very funny sketch
Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam are making fun of bad and annoying disc jokeies
Lohan as an intern. This sketch isn't very funny so far.
Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam are making fun of bad and annoying disc jokeies
Lohan as an intern. This sketch isn't very funny so far.
Aside from her poking fun at herself in the scared stright sketch and the monologue
Lohan hasn't really done alot tonight so far
Very bad sketch. Bad ending too.
And now a digitalshort. Samberg and Kristen Wiig. Not bad but it was way too rushed. Good performances though
This sketch isn't funny at all
They are using cheap jokes and repetition to get laughs. Very Lazy writing
Delinguent Girl Squad
Fred Armisen and Andy Samberg in drag. Cheap laugh alert. This isn't very fuunny so far. Cheap violence jokes as well.
I did like the jokes about the baby's gender
Good to see Jon Hmm again. Not an entirely great Update but it was slightly better than some others this season
Bobby Moynihan as Snooki
He's actually decent with this impression. But he's done it a bit too much by now.
OK jokes so far.
TSeth Rogem joke was good though. Bill Hader's James Carvville impression is always good
Good to see Jack White back on SNL again. He last appeared nack in Fall 2002.
This song sounds good / He's a good singer and he plays the guitar very well
Those rape jokes aren't funny at all
Yjey're inappropriate and awaful. Of course everyone loses it at the end and cracks up
That was the best part of the sketch so far.
Lindsay Lohan is a good sport for poking fun at herself like that
Abrupt ending
But still funny. Lohan did fine in that sketch; but she didn't get to do alot though. Samberg was very funny in that sketch
That is pretty funny
I like the idea of the psycicks knowing that they are going to mess up in the next year
Very Good opening
But as said before, I wish they had done something a bit more original highlighting Lohan's return
It's Almost That Time
In just over ninety minutes, my live-blogging coverage of "saturday Night Live" will begin. Lindsay Lohan is returning to host after six years; and the writers have A LOT to work with-- this is important to consider; seeing as Lohan says that "nothing is off-limits."
I'm hoping the performances and sketches are good; as the show's been off for a week-- so everyone must be ready for an all-new show tonight.
I'll be commenting on the show as it airs; and please feel free to respond to any of my posts. Be sure to be in front of your computers with my blog on your screens and have your televisions set to NBC.
Thank you all and I'll see you at 11:30pm!

A "That's Nater-Tainment!" Special Report: Lindsay Lohan Hosts "Saturday Night Live" Tonight For the First Time in Six Years!
Tonight, NBC's “Saturday Night Live” returns after a short break with an all-new episode; one that is being hosted by Lindsay Lohan. Lohan is celebrating her fourth hosting appearance; her last was on April 18, 2006. In the past six years, the young actress has engaged in excessive drinking; admission into rehab, and even a brief amount of jailtime for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in early 2011 as well as violating probation terms. Needless to say, Lindsay Lohan hasexperienced a rough six years.
Now, in an attempt to make a comeback, Lohan is hosting “Saturday Night Live.” It was reported a brief time ago by TMZ that she begged Executive Producer Lorne Michaels to let her host again. Seeing as Lorne Michaels, who produced “Mean Girls,” the 2004 teen comedy that Lohan starrred in is giving the actress a chance to redeem herself; and hopefully, tonight will go well.
Tonight is sure to be an interesting show. I remember her first episode in 2004 was actually quite good; as she gave a good performance and worked very well with the cast. did fine in 2005 and 2006 as well; but she wasn't my favorite host. She had a lot of energy and she had good chemistry with the cast; particularly Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey; the latter of whom wrote “Mean Girls” and often performed alongside the young actress in some sketches whenever she appeared on the show.
Now, in March 2012, Lindsay Lohan is back to host the show once more. And, in an attempt to guess how the show will turn out; I now present to you:
Some quick Predictions As To What Sketches We Could See Tonight:
1. For the show's cold opening, I could see Lorne Michaels knocking on L
Lindsay Lohan's dressing room door; telling her to get ready for the show to start. Unfortunately, Michaels could hear no sound and fears that she didn't show up for the show, In a panicked state, I could see some surprise appearances by Former "Saturday Night Live" Castmembers Jimmy Fallon and Amy Poehler, volunteer to host tonight. Just then.,Lindsay Lohan could appear and explain that she was in make-up; thus proving that she was ready to host.and proceeds to open the show by saying “Live From New York, it's Saturday Night!” This would be a creative opening; seeing as the idea of Lohan not showing up to host the show could be a take on her not showing up for filming a movie or showing up to a court hearing. And the appearances by Baldwin, Fallon, and Poehler could serve as an added bonus.
2. For her monologue, I could see Lindsay Lohan answering the questions of some audience members, all played by castmembers of “Saturday Night Live,” about her legal troubles, drinking, and even posing for the magazine Playboy. As I have read earlier this week, Lohan has said that no topic is off limits, so this could be a way of winning over the audience.
3. One more sketch possibility could be that after the first couple segments, Lindsay Lohan heads to her dressing room and complains that the show is causing her too much pressure. At this point, Tina Fey appears to console her as well as give her a motivational speech. It would be nice to see Fey and Lohan working alongside each other again; and then some humor could be added to the sketch by the possible return of either Jimmy Fallon or Amy Poehler; both of whom could still be eager to host the show.
So there you go. Those are some quick thoughts and predictions regarding tonight's show. I'm looking forward to commenting on the show as it airs; posting my opinions on the performances of Lindsay Lohan and the cast as well as the quality of the show's writing. Be sure to have your televisions set to NBC by 11:30pm and have my blog up on your computers. Keep refreshing your screens throughout the show so you can see my latest comments. Please feel free to reply to any of my comments; as your feedback is very important. This is going to be an exciting night and I look forward to live-blogging the show. Thank you all for following me and I'll see you at 11:30pm!
