Well, that's the show. Not a Terrible Show Tonight at All!!

Jim Carrey was easily the best part of the show.  His energetic performances really were a significant part of why tonight's show wasn't bad at all.  Also, it seemed as if most of the cast were trying to improve the quality of the sketches as well.  Taran Killam and Kate McKinnon got good airtime in sketches this week And Leslie Jones got to be showcased well for her first night as a credited castmember.  In addition, Michael Che continues to impress me with his dynamic delivery on "Weekend Update."  I really wish he would be anchoring the weekly segment by himself and that Colin Jost would stick to being just a writer.  Also, some the sketches tonight weren't bad.  Even though the "Jim Carrey Family Reunion" sketch was basically a rehash of a sketch from 2008, I enjoyed seeing the cast act like Carrey and dress up as different roles that Carrey had played in movies.  Also, the best sketches of the night were the "Office Party Costume Conest sketch (mainly due to Jim carrey's and Kate McKinnon's fun performances) as well as the Graveyard sketch (mainly due to Jim Carrey's and Taran Killam's performances).  All in all, not a perfect episode, but still not a terrible episode.
