It's that time again. This Saturday evening at 11:30pm, I will be live-blogging the season premier of "Saturday Night Live." I can't believe Season Thirty-Nine is over already. Too bad it wasn't a very good season at all. But nevertheless, I am ready to start live-blogging the long-running variety series once again. Taking the stage as host for the premier episode will be "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt; who will be emceeing the program for his first time. I really enjoyed Pratt's engaging performance as roguish space their-turned-hero Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) and I am very excited to see him host the first show of the new season.

Prior to the season premier, I will be posting a mini-writing about my worries about the upcoming season as well as reasons why I am still looking forward to the debut of the new season. I will also be talking about what I am looking forward to seeing in the first episode of the show's landmark Season 40 opener as well as some quick thoughts on Chris Pratt hosting the first show of the season.
Then, beginning at 11:30pm, my live-blogging will begin.Throughout the show, I will be commenting on the performances of the cast, Guest Host Chris Pratt and Musical Guest Ariana Grande; who will be performing on the show for her first time. I will also be commenting on the writing of all the sketches as well as how well the opening show stacks up against previous season premiers.
So be sure to have your televisions set to NBC and your computers set to my blog at 11:30pm this Saturday night.
