As I have enjoyed Jason Segel’s engaging performances in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “I Love You, Man,” I am truly hoping for a very memorable show filled with creative and clever sketches. However, seeing as previous hosts Charlie Day and Emma Stone were given material that wasn’t completely great, I am a bit skeptical as how things will go tonight. However, as Day and Stone gave very enthusiastic performance throughout their respective shows, I am sure that Segel will be just as energetic throughout the entire telecast.
Therefore, as I have done with both previous shows, I would like to present some ideas as to how tonight’s episode could end up being a memorable one. Thus, without any further ado, I now present:
Predictions and Possibilities for Episode Seven of “Saturday Night Live’s” Thirty-Seventh Season: Jason Segel / Florence + The Machine

1) Seeing as Jason Segel is hosting to promote the November 23 release of The Muppets,” for which he has co-written and is also producing, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kermit the Frog to make a surprise appearance; to possibly talk about the upcoming movie or possibly, and this would be a real treat for everyone, perform “Rainbow Connection,” the beloved opening song from “The Muppet Movie,” along with Jason Segel.

Maybe Miss Piggy could appear on “Weekend Update” along with Kermit the Frog to discuss a current news story. Furthermore, in addition to Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, other Muppets like Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, and Animal could appear in various sketches throughout the night. It would be great seeing Jason Segel and the cast of “Saturday Night Live” interact with the characters; as it would be a great change of pace and add further excitement to the show. Henceforth, I am betting that the Muppets will be appearing during tonight’s show. It would make the show even more fun and more memorable.
3) In addition, seeing as Jason Segel has starred alongside many comedic performers, I would not be surprised to see some special guests tonight. For instance, maybe Segel’s “How I Met Your Mother” co-star Neil Patrick Harris, who actually hosted “Saturday Night Live” in January 2009, will stop by to partake in a sketch. Or perhaps Paul Rudd, who has hosted the sketch-comedy program two times before and also starred along with Segel in “I Love You, Man,” will make a potential appearance as well. In other words, seeing as this is the last episode of “Saturday Night Live’s” November schedule, I am betting that someone will be making a surprise appearance; whether it’s a human or a Muppet.

It would be great seeing Jason Segel, the cast, Florence + The Machine, and any surprise guests performing a song to wish everyone a happy holiday. It would be very memorable as well a successful finale for November. In other words, it would be a great way to end the show.
