Quick Thoughts About Tonight's Episode of "Saturday Night Live"
I apologize for the delay in posting my thoughts. I have experienced computer problems all day. But now, everything's up and running! Here are some Quick Thoughts for tonight's Episode:
1. Steve Buscemi is hosting the show this evening. It marks his second hosting stint; as his last took place on April 4, 1998. I remember that when Buscemi first hosted, he portrayed many characters that were borderline eccentric. He gave great performances in every sketch; especially one piece when he played an unusual employer conducting a job interview with a put-off applicant; portrayed by Then-Castmember Chris Kattan. The whole sketch was utterly hilarious; and Buscemi was in top-form in his role. I'm really hoping that he is given great material tonight that would allow him to be utterly hilarious in every piece.
2. Also, seeing as Steve Buscemi has made comical appearances in some of Adam Sandler's movies, such as "Billy Madison," "Big Daddy," and "Grown Ups," I am wondering if the former "Saturday Night Live" castmember will make a surprise appearance. It would be hilarious seeing the two performers together on the stage; and it would also mark Sandler's first appearance on the show since November 2002. I am going to keep my eyes open throughout the show this evening to see if he eill make some form of appearance.
3. Nevertheless, I am expecting and interesting show tonight. Steve Buscemi is a very good actor; as seen on the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire." I am anticipating creative sketches; seeing as the writers were off for a week and should be completely rested and ready to go for December 2011.
And I plan on blogging the show as it airs; commenting on the skits and performances. I hope everything goes well and that my computer works perfectly. If there is a delay in between posts, it's probably because my computer is adjusting. However, I will be posting of tonight's episode by Monday at the latest. So don't worry if I miss something. I will be writing an in-depth review anyway.
